Job Summary
At, At Your Side Home Care, the Growth and Expansion Community Engagement Manager plays a critical role in expanding community partnerships, driving referral growth, and negotiating payer relationships to ensure quality, accessible care for our clients. This position leads marketing strategy, manages referral pipelines, and collaborates across departments to promote our mission of helping individuals live their best lives at home.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive growth and client acquisition.
- Identify, build and maintain relationships with referral sources including Hospice, Home Health, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, physician offices, community organizations, and senior living communities to allow for a pipeline of referrals.
- Plan, organize and represent At Your Side at local events, professional networks, and community forums to enhance brand visibility.
- Conduct regular market assessments to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide detailed reporting on sales performance, market trends, and referral conversion rates.
- Assist with client consultations, admissions, and follow-ups with referral sources.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all service offerings, pay sources, and community engagements.
- Plan and create social media content in a timely manner to be published across all company social media platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required and/or.
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare sales or business development, preferably in home care or home health.
- Proven success in referral development, and market expansion.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Community engagement focused
- Self-starter, creative, and forward thinker
- Strong analytical, data-driven, organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the service area.
- Hubspot, Microsoft Suite, and Google Workspace experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time, including during meetings, community visits, and outreach events.
- Must be able to drive regularly to referral sources, events, and business meetings.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds (e.g., marketing materials, display items).
- Ability to use standard office equipment and technology, including phones, computers, and printers.
- Visual and auditory ability to communicate effectively with clients, referral partners, and team members in person and over the phone.
